J A Shillinglaw & Associates is a sister company to JAS (Inspection & Testing) Ltd

Initially formed in 1977, J A Shillinglaw & Associates specialized in acoustics and performance testing of facades. The demand for these services increased to such an extent that the acoustic side of the business was spun off as a seperate entity and a specialist testing company, JAS (Inspection & Testing) Ltd was formed.

However, where assistance in matters associated with the full requirements of ensuring a trouble free facade are still required, not only by Architects but also, by main contractors, sub-contractors and component manufacturers, then J A Shillinglaw & Associates are able to assist. 

Although it may appear that the work of JAS (Inspection & Testing) Ltd and J A Shillinglaw & Associates overlap, as consultants J A Shillinglaw & Associates offer a more in depth technical role and also offer additional services.
