About Us

We are part of a Consultancy Group, formed in 1977, that offers expertise and services in various areas in connection with the specification, design and testing of the building envelope and its associated components.

JAS (Inspection & Testing) Ltd are based in Hong Kong and specializes in the testing of both the individual components and the external cladding systems installed on buildings. The company was formed specifically to cater to the industry requirement for testing services, a role that had previously been carried out by our sister company, J A Shillinglaw & Associates.

The creation of JAS (Inspection & Testing) Ltd enabled the testing business to grow without impinging on the day to day business of J A Shillinglaw & Associates which continues to offer consultancy services to Architects, Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Suppliers.The role of JAS (Inspection & Testing) Ltd has now grown from its original role of laboratory facade and curtain wall testing to one that now offers on-site testing and inspections into the condition of building facades and curtain walling.

We offer a wide range of facade and component testing which includes factory inspections and calibration of Heat Soak Test ovens and have HOKLAS accredition for aspects of our testing services.
